Construction dust defense

New builds and renovations send fine dust into drains. We pre-flush, filter, and jet lines after construction milestones, preventing cement-like buildup.

Grease and coffee control

Coffee grounds and fryer grease fuel city clogs. We set up strainer protocols, enzyme dosing, and frequent light jetting for cafs and restaurants.

City FAQ

How often should I clean drains in a city unit?

Annual camera checks and cleanings keep most city units safe. Busy kitchens, rentals, or pet-heavy homes benefit from semiannual visits.

Can you work around tight schedules?

Yes. Early morning, late night, and between-meeting windows are available. We plan the job to match elevator access and quiet hours.

Do you handle odor complaints?

Odors come from dry traps, biofilm, vent issues, or partial clogs. We hydrate traps, clean biofilm with safe agents, and verify vent health with cameras.

Is hydro-jetting safe for my pipes?

We match pressure and nozzle type to pipe age and material, protecting the line while restoring full diameter.

Do you provide documentation for boards?

We also store records to track trends and plan prevention.

Can you help renters and hosts?

Yes. We coordinate with landlords, offer turnkey odor fixes, and schedule service between guest stays.

Dealing with older buildings

Historic Homer City, PA buildings often combine original cast iron with newer PVC tie-ins. We soften jetting pressure, stage cleaning in passes, and document every fragility.

Managing high occupancy

High occupancy demands high-frequency care.

Protecting luxury finishes

Marble, hardwood, and designer fixtures need gentle handling. We use padded mats, low-profile tools, and sealed containment to shield your finishes.

Vent health

Clogged vents mimic drain clogs. We camera-check vents, clear nests, and confirm airflow so fixtures drain silently.

Shared responsibility

Shared drains, shared wins.

Data-backed maintenance

Predictable care saves money and reviews.

Travel-proof drains

Before long trips, run water in rarely used fixtures and add a dash of mineral oil to traps to slow evaporation.

When you dial TotalDrainCleaning, a live city coordinator answers, captures your symptoms, and sets an arrival window that fits your calendar.

The prevention mindset

City drains fail when ignored. We flip the script with membership options: quarterly jetting for food businesses, semiannual camera checks for condos, enzyme dosing for rentals, and storm-readiness visits before rainy seasons.

The two treaties of Fort Stanwix (of 1768 and, after American independence, of 1784) secured the westward expansion of Pennsylvania into the region where the Borough of Homer City is now located, on land inhabited by the six Indian nations. With white settlement these new territories were initially organized as part of existing counties in eastern and central Pennsylvania. White settlers were few in the eighteenth century and encountering Indians still very much a part of daily life. Any degree of stability and safety came only after the Battle of Fallen Timbers (1794). Indiana County was carved out of Westmoreland and Lycoming counties in 1803 and divided into three townships: Wheatfield, Armstrong, and Mahoning. The confluence of Two Lick and Yellow creeks (present-day Homer City) was a contender for the seat of government for the new county, but instead the "extraordinary overtures" of George Clymer, a local landowners and a signer of the Declaration of Independence, saw the county seat situated instead in what would become the Borough of Indiana. Center Township - the unincorporated area surrounding present-day Homer City - was created from a portion of Armstrong Township in 1807, its landscape dotted with larger and smaller family homesteads (farms) and an increasing number of mills and trading posts.
